We're pleased to announce our third product update of the year: Recycly 2025.3!
This release of Recycly includes enhancements to contracts, collections, invoicing, stock management, audit reports, and the user interface, along with improved notifications, search capabilities, and various other fixes and changes.
As always - this wouldn't be possible without all the feedback from our awesome customers - so a big thank you.
Contracts
- Added "Contract Name" to help differentiate contracts more easily.
- Displayed the count of contracts created from a contract template and provided an option to list them.
- When clicking a contract from a contact record, it now opens in full-screen mode instead of a popup.
- Enabled sending emails directly from contracts.
- Contract history (log notes) is now visible on contracts and contract templates.
Collections & Deliveries
- Collection calendar now opens full collection details in full-screen mode, allowing access to the Documents menu.
- Customer PO Number is now visible on the Collections/Drop-offs list view.
- Customer PO Number is now displayed on the Deliveries list view and can be searched.
- Deliveries list now shows both Waiting and Ready to Process deliveries by default.
- Added a click-through from Deliveries to the related Sales Order.
Sales & Invoicing
- Moved the Customer PO Reference field to a top-level field on invoices and refunds.
- Customer PO Number is now displayed on the portal quote/order preview and portal list views for quotes and orders.
- Added top-level filters for Customer PO Number on Inbound & Outbound Quotes & Orders.
- Ensured Customer PO Ref is copied through to Quotes, Orders, and Invoices created from an Inbound Order.
Stock & Inventory
- Renamed "Awaiting Stock Availability" to "Stock To Be Assigned" for better clarity.
- Added Parent Location to the Stock Locations list, allowing mass editing.
- Displayed the associated Audit Report ID against items in the stock list.
- Showed the source stock location when selecting items/lots for a delivery order.
- Restricted Item/Lot source stock location to match the source location of the delivery order.
- Automatically reserves selected Items/Lots when pressing the Confirm button on the View/Assign Items & Lots pop-up.
Audit Reports
- Added an action to Refresh Audit Report Details from Source Data, useful when field mappings are updated.
- Allowed direct opening of the associated Recycly item from a processed hardware audit report.
MS Word Templates & Reports
- Users can now use "r", "c", and "u" as shortcuts for "record", "company", and "user" in merge fields in Microsoft Word templates, e.g. [r.name] instead of [record.name]
UI & User Experience
- Added an improved notification when new versions of Recycly are released, including a button to refresh the page.
- Renamed "Parent Address Book Contact" to "Linked Address Book Customer" for clarity in ad-hoc addresses.
- Moved the Item Financials tab to be positioned just after Snapshots and renamed it to "Financials & eCommerce".
- Added a Purchase Price field to items within the "Financials & eCommerce" tab.
- Re-ordered optional address book field settings to match the company form layout.
Other Improvements & Fixes
- Auto-generated hazardous premises codes based on the company/site name.
- Increased the Assistant screen timeout to prevent issues where an assistant screen has been left open for a long time.
- Storage size is no longer required to be entered when adding storage devices.
- Ensured internal stock locations always have a parent location.
