We’re excited to announce Recycly 2026.10 This has been a fairly major release, focusing on Document Templates, Label Templates, Outbound Orders, Collections & Drop-offs, Customer Portal, Documents, Hardware Audit processing, Invoices, Messaging & Notifications, Items & Lots, Booking Forms, Calendar & Activities, and general usability, helping ITAD teams work faster and with greater visibility across operations.

Document Templates

  • Continued UX improvements across the entire Document Templates workflow, making it quicker and more intuitive to create, manage and use templates.
  • Improved document template comments, guidance and on-screen wording for greater clarity.
  • Enhanced how document templates are populated, improving consistency and reliability when generating documents.
  • Improved System Area names and filtering to make template selection clearer.
  • Improved visibility of output formats and available print actions within document-related menus.
  • Added the option to generate supported documents as Microsoft Word documents where appropriate.
  • Improved appropriate access to Document Templates for non-administrator users.
  • Enhanced document generation reliability across a range of document workflows.
  • Resolved an issue where Microsoft Word templates could sometimes be presented with the wrong file extension.
  • Various other UI/UX enhancements.

Label Templates & Printing

  • Added options to include the Item Number, ID Label and Asset Type when printing labels.
  • Improved the default barcode content for ID Labels to focus on the Item/Lot ID.
  • Enhanced label printing reliability and consistency across supported label formats.
  • Renamed several print options to make their purpose clearer.

Outbound Orders

  • Improved the experience when selecting specific Items and Lots for Outbound Quotes and Orders.
  • Updated button labels and selection prompts to better explain the action being performed.
  • Improved multi-select guidance when adding Items and Lots.
  • Made it easier to find additional Items and Lots during selection.
  • Improved stability when working with large or unsaved Outbound Orders.
  • Enhanced the Shipping action to make the workflow clearer and easier to understand.

Collections & Drop-offs

  • New Collections now correctly remain in the Waiting stage until they are ready to be processed.
  • Collections in the Waiting stage can now be deleted where appropriate.
  • Users can now remove expected Items from the Items to be Collected window before processing.
  • Item Summary lines with no scanned quantity can now be removed while Collections or Drop-offs are still in the Draft or Waiting stages.
  • Improved default values for Item Summary locations.

Customer Portal

  • Improved the overall Portal experience with more consistent layouts and navigation.
  • Enhanced Portal forms to open in the expected position for a smoother user experience.
  • Improved invoice document delivery to provide a more consistent experience with the main system.
  • Enhanced administrator access to Portal features.
  • Improved site information layout and presentation.
  • Various other UI/UX enhancements.

Documents & Invoices

  • Improved the Send & Print experience for invoices, including PDF document delivery.
  • Enhanced document delivery consistency between Portal and back-office workflows. 

Hardware Auditing

  • Enhanced hardware audit processing with improved handling of pre-wipe audit information.
  • Improved hardware specification detection, including more reliable RAM identification for Certus users (it now handles old AND new certificate formats).
  • Enhanced historical processing to improve consistency when reviewing previously imported audit data.
  • Added clearer processing information, including when reports were processed, how they were processed and by whom.

Messaging & Notifications

  • Improved the Send Message functionality by enumerating recipients (i.e. "followers") more clearly.
  • Enhanced the Log Note functionality by enumerating recipients (i.e. "followers") more clearly.
  • Improved email-related messages to make configuration issues easier to understand.

Booking Forms

  • Improved Booking Forms by requiring valid combinations of contact and items' details before submission.
  • Enhanced the booking experience by automatically pre-filling information for signed-in users where available.
  • Improved field ordering and overall form usability.

Items & Lots

  • Improved inline editing of Item and Lot weight information.
  • Enhanced weight field headings and labels for greater clarity.
  • Improved search totals so Item and Lot quantities are counted more accurately.
  • Removed outdated shortcuts from commonly used merge fields.

Calendar & Activities

  • Renamed Calendar to Calendar & Activities throughout the system for greater consistency, following our recent enhancements to Activities in the previous release.

Purchasing

  • Improved the message shown when attempting to cancel a Purchase Order after items have already been received.

General Improvements

  • Improved grouping options in employee and vehicle management screens to make records easier to organise.
  • Improved the Employee Skills interface with clearer guidance, better ordering and a more user-friendly experience.
  • Enhanced overall application stability and usability through a range of performance, reliability and interface improvements.
