We’re excited to announce Recycly 2026.2. This release delivers Improvements to Collections and Inbound Orders, Processing Status and Reporting, Asset Grading and Snapshots, Data Storage Quick Entry, Invoicing and Payments, Document Templates and Exports, and general usability enhancements.
Collections / Drop-offs / Transfers / Outbound Deliveries
- Renamed the system area to “Collections / Drop-offs / Transfers / Outbound Deliveries” across the platform for improved clarity and consistency.
- Enhanced the Collections Assigned User field to make mass-editing easier and improve overall usability.
- Removed the “Create Snapshot” option from the dashboard to simplify workflows and reduce confusion.
- Improved Inbound Order lists to correctly display associated site information.
- Added a Site column to the inbound orders list in the portal for better clarity.
- Ensured the correct contact name is displayed across relevant screens.
- Ensured the correct site name is displayed consistently throughout the system.
- Updated barcode printouts to show the Inbound Order number for clearer identification.
Hardware Report Integrations: Processing Status & Reporting
The following applies to hardware integrations including: Aiken Workbench, Blancco Cloud, Blancco on-prem, YouWipe, and Certus.
- Improved reliability / tolerance of processing status updates to ensure items are correctly marked as completed even when there are issues in the 3rd-party software.
- Enabled bulk updates to automatically set processing status to completed where appropriate.
- Automatically set the processing completed date and time when items are marked as completed individually, or in bulk.
- Added the ability for users to toggle Report Status directly.
- Resolved duplication of Processing Notes on the Items / Lots screen.
Asset Items, Attributes & Grading
The following is in Beta and has only been released to a small number of customers for testing. We are planning for it to be made widely available in one of our near sprints (e.g. Sprint 2026.3 - Sprint 2026.5).
- Introduced Asset Item Grading functionality to support structured grading workflows, including time-based degradation.
- Refined attribute editing rules to provide clearer control over when and how item attributes can be updated.
- Improved the “Update Attributes” workflow to guide users through controlled attribute changes.
- Enabled full configuration of, and enhanced visibility and access to the Attributes configuration area with clearer menu structure and permissions.
- Improved consistency of snapshot field behaviour to prevent unintended edits.
Initial / Final Snapshot Mode
The following is available to all customers to provide simplified management of snapshots, allowing input of only Initial / Final snapshots for Asset Items. Switching between the two is possible, but not recommended. Running RecyclyERP in Initial / Final snapshot mode retains traceability in the background, but traceability will not be available while in this mode, other than Initial / Final. These features are available by toggling the setting under Inbound > Booking In.
- Enhanced Initial / Final Snapshot mode to automatically create both snapshots when enabled.
- Improved automatic population of final values when initial values are entered.
- Ensured attributes that must remain identical between initial and final states are handled consistently.
- Hidden non-relevant snapshot fields and tabs when Initial / Final mode is enabled to reduce screen clutter and simplify the interface.
- Added background processing to automatically create missing final snapshots where required (requirement mostly when switching to the new mode for the first time).
- Improved support for entering initial and final values when creating new lots.
Data Storage Quick Entry
These features are available by toggling the setting under Inbound > Booking In, when "Only View/Edit Initial & Final Snapshots" is set.
- Introduced a new Data Storage Quick Entry workflow for faster and more structured data capture.
- Improved hard drive serial number entry in the quick entry interface.
- Enhanced synchronisation between Initial and Final snapshots within the quick entry workflow.
- Refined the quick entry interface to provide a more reliable and consistent editing experience.
- Improved system performance and stability when handling quick entry data updates.
Invoicing & Payments
- Enabled invoice payment registration directly from the individual invoice view for greater convenience.
- Removed duplicate “Register Payment” actions from list views for a cleaner interface.
- Reordered the “Register Payment” action for improved visibility and usability.
- Improved confirmation messaging when archiving posted invoices to provide clearer user feedback.
Document Templates & Export
- Renamed the “Model” label to “System Area” in Document Templates for clarity across the platform.
- Clearly distinguished Standard Export and Advanced Export functionality across the system for clarity.
General Usability Improvements
- Improved settings views for clearer configuration management.
- Enhanced overall interface consistency and clarity across multiple screens.
