We’re excited to announce Recycly 2026.9 This release focuses on Inbound Order features (inc. invoicing), Warehouse Location refinements for Outbound Orders, Items & Lots, Address Book, Reporting & Documents, ShipEngine Integration, Collections & Drop-offs, and Contracts & Invoicing, helping ITAD teams work faster and with greater visibility across operations.
Highlights include improved grading workflows, enhanced audit matching, more flexible contract-based invoicing, clearer reporting and document generation, usability improvements across key workflows, and stronger controls for inventory and outbound processing.
ShipEngine Integration
We've now released the initial version of our improved ShipEngine Integration - thanks to the selection of customers who tested this for us.
- Connect to your own ShipEngine account, which in-turn connects to your shipping accounts
- Search / add shipping quotes directly to outbound orders.

Inbound Orders
- Added the ability to generate invoices using either expected item quantities or scanned item quantities when contracts are linked to an Inbound Order.
- Contract services can now be automatically applied when generating invoices from Inbound Orders.
- Added validation to prevent the creation of empty draft invoices.
- Added optional support for mandatory Customer PO References on Inbound Orders.
- Improved support for commonly used document merge fields related to Inbound Orders.
- Improved inbound inventory reporting with consistent weight unit handling.
Warehouse location enhancements / Outbound Orders
- Added the ability to mark locations that contain items or lots which should not be available for outbound processing, and corresponding functionality to help prevent restricted inventory from being added to outbound orders. Useful for scrap / reservations etc.
Items & Lots / Hardware Audit Report integrations
- Enhanced attribute management, validation and usage across Items & Lots.
- Improved snapshot usability and data visibility.
- Added stronger controls around attribute configuration and selection values.
- Improved handling of imported hardware specifications such as CPU, RAM and storage details.
- Enhanced import reliability and data population workflows, by adding options for each Audit Report Integration (e.g. Blancco, Aiken, Certus, YouWipe etc.) to choose which special characters to ignore when matching RecyclyItemID and Serial Number.
- Improved weight unit handling across Items & Lots.
- Added support for administrators to update Item and Lot IDs directly from the record form.
- Restricted Item and Lot ID changes for non-administrative users.

- Added per-user support for setting the default country when creating new Address Book entries, and set this by default for all users based on the country of their organisation.
