RecyclyERP is delivered as a managed cloud service, hosted on AWS - UK and European customers are hosted in the AWS Europe (Ireland) region.
Your data
RecyclyERP runs on shared Recycly servers, but every customer has their own separate RecyclyERP instance, with its own database and file storage. RecyclyERP is not a multi-tenant application, so customer data is never mixed.
Backups
Every server is backed up automatically each night, and those backups are kept for 14 days. On top of that, each customer's database and stored files are copied nightly to separate AWS storage and kept for about 90 days. That gives a recovery point of no more than 24 hours.
We test that these backups work. Every quarter we restore a customer's system from them and check it, and we have rehearsed rebuilding our production server from nothing: every customer system was back within about two hours.
Continuity
A concise disaster recovery and business continuity summary is available to customers and evaluating prospects on request, and forms part of our standard supplier pack before contract signature. Our published Security & Compliance policy library (opens in a new tab) sets out the wider information security approach, and two-factor authentication is available for both staff and portal users.
