Payment Provider Setup for Ecommerce

Overview

This guide is for Website Administrators, and explains how to set up and activate a payment provider in your website so customers can complete payments during checkout.

Details

1st — Go to your website backend

Navigate to: Website → Configuration → Payment Providers

2nd — Install a payment provider

Find your preferred provider (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and click Install if it’s not already installed.

3rd — Configure the provider

  • Open the payment provider you just installed
  • Enter the required credentials (API keys, merchant details, etc.)

4th — Publish it on the website

  • Make sure the provider is enabled and published. If it is unpublished, click on it to change the status to published.
  • This step is important so it becomes available during checkout
