Getting started with a new system can feel overwhelming, especially one as feature-rich as Recycly. That’s why we created the Setup Assistant—your step-by-step guide to getting your system fully configured and ready for action.

Whether you're a new customer, trialling Recycly, or just exploring what’s under the hood, the Setup Assistant can show you how effortlessly Recycly can be tailored to your ITAD business.

🚀 Available from Day One

So long as you have access to it, you’ll find the Setup Assistant right in your main menu—alongside modules like Invoicing, Fleet, and Marketing (see screenshot below). It’s available as its own app and designed for Admin users who are responsible for system configuration.

Recycly’s Setup Assistant is grouped into 12 clearly defined categories, and we’re adding more based on feedback and platform evolution:

Each category contains one or more Actions—practical setup tasks that help tailor Recycly to your business operations.

Every action in the Setup Assistant can be:

Start — this jumps you straight to the right part of Recycly to configure it.

Mark as Complete — useful for tracking your setup progress.

Mark as Not Needed — useful if a step isn’t relevant for your use case.

📝 Annotate with Notes — great for internal collaboration or leaving messages for your team.

You can also filter by progress (e.g., “To Do,” “In Progress,” “Completed”) and even export the full action list if you need to review or document your onboarding journey.
