We're excited to announce our final release of the year: Recycly 2024.13
We could call this the Christmas release and include emojis like this...🎄🎅 - but that would make it sound more special than the rest - and being honest: every release in 2024 was a special one thanks to the incredibly useful feedback from our amazing customers.
In summary, this release introduces enhanced shipping capabilities, additional analysis views for better data insights, streamlined grid entry for quick item data capture, and improved integration with Aiken Workbench, all aimed at delivering even smoother operations and the most user-friendly experience of any software serving the ITAD sector.
Shipping & Delivery
- Introduced a streamlined shipping wizard for adding shipping to orders, offering clearer steps and improved reliability.
- Enhanced shipping quotes to return multiple carrier options and display warnings when no rates are available.
- Automatically calculates and assigns shipping packages based on item size and box dimensions, packing larger items first.
- Added a warning message if a sales order has no shipping.
- Refined delivery product options to ensure only relevant products appear when adding delivery charges.
- Shipping carriers are now automatically archived if they are disabled by the external shipping provider.
Graph & Pivot Views
- Added a Graph view and Pivot view to Items & Lots and Collections & Drop-offs, offering better data insights.
- Restored default list filters for easier data navigation.
- Extended Pivot view functionality to Contracts, Employees, Bills, Invoices, and the Address Book.
Grid Entry
- Enabled quick data entry for items (e.g. RAM type and CPU model), reducing repetitive manual inputs.
- Added a “Discard” option to remove any unconfirmed entries before they become active records.
- Newly created lots from the grid remain archived until confirmed.
Aiken Integration
- Added support for Aiken disk erasure statuses, providing clearer visibility of erasure progress.
- Introduced an automated connection check to keep the integration status up to date.
General Enhancements
- Added the ability to colour code Inbound Order Tags and display them on the Kanban view.
- Added a new filter to display archived items and a “Group By” option based on the action type in Item Processing Actions.
- Site Contact is no longer required for drop-offs.
