Recycly Release 2025.1

21 January 2025

We're excited to announce our first product update of the year: Recycly 2025.1

This release includes a range of user-facing enhancements, such as improvements to inbound order invoicing, ad-hoc address functionality, user profile management, hazardous item handling, and interface refinements.

Inbound Orders and Invoicing

  • Renamed “Quote Item Schemes” to “Inbound Pricing Schemes” for clarity and so that we can separate these from the equivalent for Outbound (FMV).
  • Added an “Invoice Status” indicator to Sales Orders on the Inbound Order screen.
  • Improved integration between Inbound Orders and Invoices, allowing the system to use Inbound Pricing Schemes when generating Invoices.
  • Introduced a “Qty to Invoice Based On” option for Quotes and Sales Orders created from Inbound Orders, offering more flexible billing configurations.
  • Separated the Quote and Sales Order lists on Inbound Orders for clearer distinction.
  • Added a button on Quote or Sales Order lines to configure the “Qty to Invoice” calculation according to Inbound Pricing Schemes.
  • Tweaked the layout of the Inbound Pricing Scheme screens for a clearer user experience.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the confirmation of Draft Orders from an Inbound Order.

Sales Orders, Quotes, and Deliveries

  • Displayed the “Customer PO Number” field prominently on Sales Orders and ensured it copies through to Delivery Orders in all cases.
  • Added a “Customer PO Number” field on Inbound Orders and copied it to Collections and Drop-offs.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the deletion of Draft Sales Orders.
  • Added measurement units to the Package Type list for improved clarity.

Ad-Hoc Addresses

  • Enabled Ad-Hoc Addresses for Collections and Inbound Orders, including options in the Schedule Collection wizard.
  • Displayed an address source picker when creating new Sales Orders, Inbound Orders, or Collections.
  • Ensured only the current customer’s Ad-Hoc Addresses are visible, automatically clearing them if the customer changes.
  • Added settings to enable or disable Ad-Hoc Addresses for Inbound and Outbound Orders, with an Outbound Address Source option controlling the field’s visibility.
  • Hid the “Address Type” field for Ad-Hoc Addresses, as they should always be delivery addresses.
  • Computed first and last names automatically when creating new Ad-Hoc contacts, and introduced a dedicated menu to manage all Ad-Hoc Addresses.

EWC and Hazardous Items

  • Updated standard database of EWC codes
  • Improved the EWC search screen for easier navigation.

Asset Management

  • Allowed marking of the Next Action as completed irrespective of asset type or intended final action, with a warning displayed if they do not match (rather than preventing it entirely).

User Profiles

  • Enabled portal users to change their profile photos.
  • Enhanced and fixed various issues related to setting and updating user profile details (inc. photos!).

General Interface Improvements and Fixes

  • Refined wording and terminology across the system for consistency.
  • Refined the filters and “Group By” options on Deliveries, Collections, and Drop-off search screens for quicker data retrieval and more efficient reporting in all views (list, kanban, pivot etc.).
  • Fixed minor issues with the County selection field on the customer portal
  • Added a default filter for the graph view, making it easier to see relevant data at a glance.

The above changes are now available for all customers to use (you might just need to refresh your browser).
