We're excited to announce our next release: Recycly 2025.7.
This release includes improvements to eCommerce functionality, settlements management, portal access control, item listings, and improved Xero integration.
As always - this update wouldn't be possible without all the feedback from our awesome customers - so a big thank you.
eCommerce
- eCommerce sales orders now reserve stock immediately upon confirmation, and the quantities displayed on the eCommerce are updated in real-time.
- Items can now be batch unpublished from the eCommerce.

A "Publish to eCommerce" assistant has been added to publish items to one or more of your eCommerce websites en-masse.

eCommerce categories are now separated from internal product categories and can be configured per website or shared globally.

SKUs now include an image field, which is used as the default eCommerce image if no item-specific image is set.

The "Sell on eCommerce" field on the item list view is now read-only.

eCommerce category setup now includes a "Restrict to Website" field.
- Added configuration for enabling/disabling partial purchase of lots, and this is reflected in the store front-end.
- Added configuration setting to require login for access to the Recycly eCommerce.
- Portal users can now be restricted from accessing websites they are not authorised for.

The default eCommerce store can now be configured per stock warehouse.
- The Items/Lots list now shows the specific eCommerce store(s) and categories that items are listed on, and allows filtering/searching by them.
Settlements
- Release to all systems of (previously beta) "Settlements" features that allows offsetting Purchases against Sales.
- Added visual notifications to Inbound Orders when settlement is possible.
- Sales and Purchases now display warnings when linked to a settlement.
- A wizard has been added to create an Asset Purchase Order directly from selected assets.
- The "Sales & Purchases" tab on Inbound Orders has been renamed to "Financials" for consistency.
Items & Lots
- Added the ability to search for Items/Lots by Inbound Order or Collection Number using a barcode scanner.

New fields added to the Items/Lots list: Collection Date, Country, County, City, Zip, Local Council, EWC Code, with group-by support.
- SKUs can now include "Form Factor" as a classification option.
- The "Product Categories" label has been changed to "Internal Categories" to reduce confusion with eCommerce Categories.
- Improved visibility of invoicing policy in product lists.
Portal Access
- A new "Website Portal Access" area has been added to the Access Rights tab when configuring portal users.

Portal login access can now be restricted per-website.
Invoicing & Xero Integration
- Added validation to ensure the payment due date on a supplier invoice is after the invoice or bill date.
- Improved messaging when a Purchase Order cannot be invoiced due to pending receipts.
- Enabled searching for Xero account codes using either account name or number.
- The Xero Integration setup screen now displays more information, including the ability to manually trigger a refresh of the various sync'd data items.
- Improved multi-company support for the Xero integration.
Inventory & Orders
- Only valid internal stock locations are shown when adding items to inventory.
- Added an import template for outbound sales orders.
- Added an import template for SKUs.
- Scanned item counts on Collections/Drop-offs now exclude components.
User Interface & Usability
- Restored the “Scheduled Date (Relative)” column to delivery lists to show friendly time labels like "Tomorrow" or "In 2 Days" (in addition to the literal Scheduled Date).
- Resolved issue with photo and equipment list uploads on the booking form.
- Booking form now supports multiple file uploads, with file type restrictions based on field context.
- Fixed breadcrumb behaviour and SKU image access on public store pages.
- Resolved issue with the "Save & New" button not working on the Contacts form.
The above changes are now available for all customers to use (you might just need to refresh your browser).
