We're excited to announce Recycly 2025.9 which includes improvements to asset data entry, collections management, reporting, API & Documentation, and a new Approvals feature.
Approvals Module
- We've added a new, configurable Approvals module which allows you to set up Inbound Order workflow stages in which approvals are given, and later stages that require those approvals. Simply...
- Set up "Approval Groups" which are groups of one or more users that can grant approvals, such as "Finance Approval" or "Warehouse Manager Approval".
- Create an appropriate "Sign Off" stage which requests those approvals.
Collections & Drop-offs
- Added a new Collections / Drop-offs dashboard under both Inventory → Operations and Inbound → Collections & Drop-offs menus.
- Enabled printing of specification labels directly from the New Snapshot screen when accessed via the Collections / Drop-offs dashboard.
- Added option to update item attributes (create a new snapshot) from the Collections / Drop-offs dashboard.
-
Made it possible to edit both “Initial Value” and “Current Value” for items, when accessed via the dashboard. Recycly then hyper-efficiently handles corresponding asset snapshots automatically for you.
Asset & Snapshot Entry
- Added a setting to enable quick entry of CPU model and count from the Asset Entry screen, rather than adding each CPU individually (similar to the functionality already available on the Grid Entry view).
-
Added a setting to enable quick entry of total RAM on the Asset Entry screen.
- Implemented keyboard navigation for various field types. You can now use the Enter key to quickly navigate to the next field after entering data.
- Allowed up to 1,000 items to be entered on the scanning screen before the list wraps to a new page.
Sales & Invoicing
- Added “Find More…” option for selecting invoice addresses on Sales Orders, which allows selection of any company / contact instead of just those directly related to the selected customer.
- Resolved an error when sending invoices via email.
Inventory & Waste Management
- Added computed fields for total hazardous and non-hazardous waste on inventory reports.
- EWC Waste Summary report now excludes archived lots.
- Estimated lot weight is now recalculated automatically when quantity is updated.
API & Integrations
- Added a link to Recycly API documentation in the user menu.
- Enabled creation and management of API keys for other user accounts.
-
Added support for stock move and stock move line in the API.
User Experience & Navigation
-
Added setting to enable/disable the requirement to enter Lot IDs when booking in lots. This is disabled by default.
- Added Time zone and History Window synchronisation options for Certus and Aiken hardware audit reports.
- When using the multi-record "mass update" feature - when you have selected "All Records", Recycly will update all records that match the search, instead of just the records shown on screen.
The above changes are now available for all customers to use (you might just need to refresh your browser).
