Recycly Feature Update

Improvements to Contract Services

Release 2025.6 - 3rd June 2025 (after 7pm UK time)

Simplified Pricing for your Services

In previous versions of Recycly, you would configure information about your services in the following locations:

  • Asset Types & Services area (Pricing and Accounting codes)
  • Inbound Pricing Schemes (Rules for when Services are applied to Inbound Orders)
  • Contract Services (More detailed information about services, including selection of Service Options), which are then added to Contract Templates

In our continous quest to make Recycly the easiest-to-use ERP for ITAD, we've made the following improvements:

  • You now configure all options for services in the Asset Types & Services area of Recycly, on Services menu. Inbound Pricing Schemes are now replaced by Contract Templates.
  • Service Options can now have pricing associated with them directly
  • Services can be added to Contract Templates and Contracts directly
  • Services can be added directly to Inbound Orders without a Contract

What will happen to my existing services configuration?

We've been vary careful to make sure you won't lose any information in this transition.

  • Any Information you have in Inbound Pricing Schemes will be moved to the Contract Templates and Contracts they are associated with
    • (any Inbound Pricing Schemes that are not associated with a Contract Template or Contract will be created as new Contract Templates)
  • The Services you have configured in the "Contract Services" area will be moved to the Services menu in the Asset Types & Services app

Once the migration is complete, you should:

  1. Review your list of services on the new Services menu in the Asset Types & Services app. Pricing is on the General Information tab, and all other options are on the Service Details tab.
  2. Review your Contract Templates and adjust the list of services as needed. There may be some duplication as a result of the merging of Inbound Pricing Schemes and Contract Services.

This change will not affect the pricing or details of any existing Inbound Orders.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact your local account manager for more information.
