How do I mark items as recycled, so they go out of stock?

You can mark items as being due for recycling using the Item Use field on the Item or Lot

Once you are ready to actually send the items for recycling, you can do the following:

1. In the Items and Lots area of the system, locate the items that are due for recycling

2. On the Actions menu, select the Change Item(s) Location or Package option

3. Then on the Change Item Location wizard, select the "Recyled" virtual location, and click the Change Item Location button.

The items will now no longer be shown as In Stock, and their Location will show as the Recycled virtual location.
