Finding and Removing Duplicate Values in Excel Data

Some fields in Recycly such as "Model Number" do not allow duplicate values, and you may get a warning such as the below:

Before importing your data, you can use Excel's "Duplicate Values" column highlighting to remove the duplicate values.

1. Load your data into Excel, and highlight the column you wish to check for duplicate values

2. on the "Home" tab in excel, press the Conditional Formatting button and select Highlight Cells, then Duplicate Values.

3. Press OK on the pop-up that appears

Now any duplicate values in the column can be easily seen and removed
